Services
I am not currently able to accept new patients. You may request to be added to a wait list if desired.
All visits are virtual. You participate from the comfort of your own home or office.
To better meet your needs, I do offer times every few months that I can see you in person in Seattle.
This offering is first-scheduled, first-served and depends on availability.
Initial Visit
We all have a story and I want to know yours. Learning about how you got to today as well as your day-to-day life helps me develop a plan tailored just for you. We will establish some goals to work on before your next visit and determine when that visit will be.
Follow-up Visits
We will discuss: how you are doing, what is going well, what is not working for you and set new goals for the month.
Support & Monitoring
You cannot manage what you do not measure. Tracking progress will be defined based on your needs and personal goals. This may include tracking your weight or body composition, food or activity records, your sleep or other biomedical markers such as lab work and blood pressure. Let’s determine what is a good fit for you!
Individual Visits
Initial 90-minute visit
If you’re looking to begin your wellness journey but aren’t certain about a commitment, this is a good starting place. Discuss your needs, learn a little, begin laying out a plan and we can see where you want to take it from there.
Follow up 45-minute visit
If you and I have worked together previously, this is likely where you will pick back up. Or, this can be the next step after the individual initial visit. These visits provide accountability, trouble-shooting, monitoring, refills and support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my insurance pay for these visits?
In most cases, commercial insurance will reimburse for these visits. I will provide a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company. I cannot bill your insurance company directly. You will be able to pay via credit or debit card.
If you have Medicare or Medicaid, I must notify you that my services are not covered or reimbursable. I am not an enrolled provider with Medicare. You will be responsible for the billed amount.
One of the most costly and time-consuming aspects of private practice is getting credentialed by and submitting billing to insurance companies. Unfortunately, this makes accepting insurance as a sole provider nearly impossible. I understand your disappointment.
I am currently licensed to practice in Washington State and Montana.
How often do I see you?
During my years of experience patients have told me that being able to establish the frequency of their visits, have direct access to me and getting information between visits is helpful to their success. In the past, I had to operate according to the procedures of the organizations in which I was employed. Now, I can care for you in a manner I believe is therapeutic and meaningful to you. You and I will determine together what length of time between visits helps you feel most supported.
Do you work with patients who will have or have had weight loss surgery?
Yes! I have experience assisting patients in their preparation for metabolic or weight loss surgery as well as caring for patients who have already had metabolic surgery. You may need assistance meeting a weight loss goal before surgery. Or you may be experiencing weight regain and need support to get back to healthy living. There is no one-way to improve your health and metabolic surgery may be one of the tools that could benefit you. Let’s work together to maximize the benefit of this tool!
